NFIRS Relational Edit Rule 8

The NFIRS specification provides this definition for Relational Edit Rule 8:

Relational Edit Rule 8 — If Incident Type not = 100 series and Incident Type not = 561, 631, 632, then F Block (Actions Taken) fields 1, 2, or 3 cannot be an 11 or 13, 14, 15, 16, or 17.

Relational Edit Rule 8 - If Incident is not Fire Group (1XX) (i.e. 100 series), or Unauthorized Burning (561), or Controlled Burn (Authorized Controlled Burning (631), Prescribed Fire (632)) then Actions Taken cannot be ‘Fire Control or Extinguishments’ (Extinguishment by Fire Service Personnel (11), or Establish Fire Lines - Wildland (13), Contain Fire - Wildland (14), Confine Fire - Wildland (15), Control Fire - Wildland (16) and Manage Prescribed Fire - Wildland (17)).

Note: Salvage & Overhaul (12) is not restricted like the others, and can be used for other incident types.
