Responserack is NERIS Data Exchange Compatible

Responserack has been determined to meet the technical requirements for NERIS V1 data exchange, and as such, Responserack can submit records to the NERIS system, i.e. reporting incidents for fire departments.

What is NERIS Data Exchange Compatibility?

An application (such as Responserack Fire RMS) can be NERIS Data Exchange Compatible if it has successfully used the NERIS API to:

1. Submit an incident to NERIS using the NERIS Application Programmer Interface (API, see NERIS terminology).
2. Update that same incident using the NERIS API.
3. Add a station to an entity (e.g. fire department) using the NERIS API.

These tasks require authentication with the NERIS system and various data payloads to to exchanged, validated and successfully processed.

NERIS Data Exchange Compatibility conveys that the application has successfully passed these NERIS tests.

Responserack Fire RMS is both NFIRS-compliant and NERIS data exchange compatible.
