Also known as: ‘Incident Arrival Time’ ‘Arrival Time’ ‘arrivalDate’ ‘arrivalTime’
Definition: The date/time when the first unit arrived at the incident scene.
Purpose: This element reflects the time spent traveling to the scene of the incident.This information can be useful to fire department management in determining (1) the actual time spent at an incident and (2) any delay between alarm and arrival.
Entry: There may be no arrival, e.g. if Unable To Locate or Cancelled en route..

NFIRS 5.0 relational edit validation rules are provided to ensure NFIRS data is consistent and correct for the fire/reporting concepts that are being modeled. Relational edits determine relationships between multiple fields / elements. These are the rules for ‘Arrival Date Time’.

Element Type | Numeric - Integer numbers (no decimal points). If the user has not provided information, an empty field should be transmitted. All integer values are assumed to be positive. Any fields which allow a negative integer value have been denoted with ‘+ or –’ in the comment field.
