‘Lift Assist’ Incident Coding

How do I code a lift assist call?

A request for a lift assist (e.g. to help somebody up, or back into bed) should be coded as 544 - Assist Invalid, which is part of the Service Call Group.

554 - Assist Invalid includes incidents where the invalid calls the FD for routine help, such as assisting a person in returning to bed or chair, with no transport or medical treatment given.
