General

Attribute Definition Comment Mandatory

For all cases

Attribute Definition Comment Mandatory
incident_subcategory The subcategory that defines the type of fire found upon arrival See final_incident_type Yes
involve_emerging_hazard If incident involves electrification, PV systems, or CSST If yes, prompts emerging_hazard_submodule Yes
civilian_rescues The number of civilians rescues during the incident Rescue is removal of viable/potentially viable occupant from IDLH to point of additional care where firefighters are under direct threat to bodily harm, including death. Yes
civilian_evac The number of civilians evacuated or assisted out of non-IDLH areas during the incident. Evacuation is the removal of occupants from non-IDLH areas, including non-attached and attached adjacent exposures by firefighters. Yes
ff_rescues The number of firefighters rescued from IDLH environments during the incident. Rescue of a firefighter is the removal of a member from IDLH to the point additional care can be provided. If this is one or greater than it must also be reflected in core_module line 10 Yes
pet_rescues The number of pets rescued from IDLH environments during the incident. Rescue of a pet involves the removal of a viable/potentially viable animal designed for human companionship from inside a structure in an IDLH. Yes
